About the Founder
Eric Melin is an entrepreneur, publisher, business broker, and food-industry enthusiast who has founded and supported ventures across food, media, technology, and professional services.
Eric grew up around the culinary and food service industry. His mother was a vocational culinary instructor, and many family conversations centered around food, recipes, restaurants, hospitality, and healthy eating. He later helped pay for college while working throughout Boston's restaurant scene.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Eric worked with the U.S. Small Business Administration as a Disaster Relief Specialist, helping hundreds of restaurant owners and small business operators navigate PPP loans and other federal relief programs.
Eric is also an advocate of culinary adventure travel. Through projects such as the International Snack Museum, he has traveled throughout more than 30 countries researching regional foods, snacks, ingredients, recipes, and culinary traditions.
